In the design of Deyuan Shangcheng Project, the gardening techniques of Chinese classical gardens such as frame view, barrier view, restrained view, borrowed view, opposite view, missing view, clip view, and added view are adopted, and modern landscape elements are used to create a rich and varied landscape space, so as to achieve the landscape effect of moving from one scene to another and seeing the big in the small. Several colors that can represent the Chinese civilization, namely the so-called "national color", are mainly Chinese red, colored glass yellow, Great Wall gray, jade white, and Chinese locust green. In combination with landscape materials and the expression positioning of the new Chinese style, local blocks also use wood primary color and black. These colors together create the expression of the landscape and create a "new Chinese style" landscape space that is lofty, festive, peaceful, quiet, and restrained.
